This session is being run by Naseby Vision in association with the Dunedin Astronomical Society and some local amateur astronomers. There will be a range of large telescopes available for viewing our stunning dark sky. Meet at the cricket pavilion.

A very quick introduction to the use of the naked eye, binoculars and telescopes.

Viewing session

A chance to see some stars, planets and deep sky objects.

 

If the weather conditions for sky viewing is poor, please check facebook.com/nasebyNZ after 4pm for cancellation. In the event of cancellation, our postponement date is 12 July at 5.30pm.
